Classic Beef Stroganoff is an old recipe of the French chef Count Stroganoff. In restaurants, it is prepared from the tenderloin, but we had at hand a good ground beef – with it no less tasty and much faster! In turn, the original sour cream sauce was left almost unchanged – it is quite suitable for keto!
Cooking time 30 min.
Portion quantity 4
Ingredients :
Ground beef 500g
Fresh champignons 250g
Sour cream 250 ml
Butter 2 tablespoons
Garlic clove 1 pc.
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon juice 1 tbsp.
Chopped parsley to taste
Step 1
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Once the butter has melted, add the chopped garlic. Cook the garlic, stirring frequently, until fragrant, then add the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper. Continue cooking the ground beef and break it up with a wooden spoon. Transfer the cooked ground beef to a bowl and set aside.
Step 2
Drain most of the fat from the pan, leaving enough to cook the mushrooms. Put the sliced mushrooms in the skillet and add a couple spoonfuls of water. Cook until the mushrooms are soft. Set the mushrooms aside.
Step 3
Turn the heat down to low and pour the sour cream into the pan. Add the cooked beef and mushrooms and stir to combine. Add the lemon juice and parsley. Braise for 5-10 minutes.
Bon appetit!
