GARLIC BUNS IN THE OVEN

These garlic buns are so good, I feel like I cheat every time I eat them. Well it’s impossible to believe that they are keto!

They smell delicious and taste great, soft and tender with a strong garlic flavor. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, drizzle with garlic butter and enjoy!

Ingredients :

Mozzarella Cheese 170 g

Almond flour 80g

Cream cheese 60g

1 egg

Baking powder 1 tsp.

Garlic powder 1 tsp.

Salt to taste

Garlic clove 3 pcs.

Butter 1 tbsp.

Grated Parmesan cheese 1 Tbsp.

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In a large heatproof bowl, mix all the dry ingredients (almond flour, garlic, oregano, baking powder, salt).
Put the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in the same bowl. Place in the microwave for 45 seconds, stir and heat for another 45 seconds. Stir until mixture forms a smooth batter. Combine the mixtures, beat in the egg and mix thoroughly.

Step 2
Cut the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a strip about 20 cm long and form knots. Place the knots at least 2 cm apart on a baking tray.
Bake until lightly golden, about 15 minutes. Remove the buns from the oven. Turn the temperature to high.

Step 3
In a small bowl, add the butter and chopped garlic. Melt in the microwave, stir and brush the garlic butter over the knots. Sprinkle with Parmesan and put in the oven for a couple more minutes.
