Anyone else missing bacon bagels for breakfast? These little circles of happiness are the best way to start the day! This keto bagel recipe is amazingly good and I can’t wait to make them to spare.
Not only do they look delicious and taste delicious, but they are also very versatile – you can add whatever toppings you prefer to your bagels. You certainly won’t be disappointed when you replace the bacon in this keto recipe with, for example, salmon and avocado.

Ingredients :
To make this recipe for “Bacon Baked Bagels.” You will need:
Almond flour 75g
Xanthan gum 1 tsp.
A big egg 1 egg
Mozzarella (grated) 150 g
Cream cheese 2 tsp.
Butter (melted) 1 tsp.
Sesame to taste
Pesto 2 tsp.
Cream cheese 2 tsp.
Ruccola 100g
Toasted slices of bacon 6 pcs.
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Step 2
Mix the almond flour and xanthan gum in a bowl. Add the egg and mix well.
Step 3
In a saucepan over medium heat (or in the microwave), melt mozzarella and cream cheese together.
Step 4
Add the melted cheese to the bowl with the almond flour and knead until all the ingredients are blended. The mozzarella will be a little lumpy inside, but that’s okay. If the dough gets too stiff, place in the microwave for 10-20 seconds and mix again.
Step 5
Divide your dough into three pieces and form them into round bagels. Place on a baking tray.
Step 6
Melt the butter and brush it on top of the bagels. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Sprinkle with dried minced garlic if you like.
Step 7
Place in the oven and bake for about 18 minutes (the dough will turn golden brown on top). Take out of the oven and let cool.
If you prefer crispy toasted bagels, you can cut them lengthwise and keep them in the oven a little longer.
Bon appetit!
