CHOCOLATE FUDGE

Chocolate and cream are a great combination, and this chocolate fudge recipe is no exception. It’s the perfect ending to dinner!

Ingredients :

Whipping cream 250 ml

Vanilla Extract ½ tsp.

Butter 50g

Bitter chocolate min. 70% sugar free 50g

Step 1
Pour the cream into a heavy bottomed saucepan, add the vanilla and bring to the boil. Then turn down the heat and continue to simmer, stirring until the volume has halved, about 20 minutes. Then, add the room temperature butter, stir and remove from the heat.

Step 2
Finely chop the chocolate, place in the hot cream mixture and stir until smooth. At this point, if desired, you can add additional ingredients – orange zest, nuts, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, etc.

Step 3
Pour the mixture into an 18 x 18 cm tin and place in the fridge for a couple of hours. Then sprinkle with cocoa, cut into pieces and serve!
The fondant can also be kept in the freezer – just let it stand at room temperature for a few minutes before serving!
