The beauty of this keto recipe is that galettes don’t have to look pretty to be delicious. In fact, the opposite is true – the simpler they look, the better they taste.
You can make a sweet “dessert” galette and fill it with fruit (with few carbs, of course), or even sweet cream cheese… But I want to share with you exactly this keto recipe – with a cheesy, flavorful, savory and so hearty filling!
Cooking time 30 minutes
Serving amount 3
Ingredients :
Almond flour 90g
A big egg 1 egg.
Mozzarella whey 3g
Ground dried garlic 1 g
Parmesan cheese (shredded) 25 g
Pesto 2 g
Fresh basil 3-4 units.
Mozzarella in balls 5 g
Cherry tomatoes 3-4 pcs.
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees and line a baking tray with baking parchment.
Mix the almond flour, dried garlic and mozzarella whey together.
Step 2
Add the egg and parmesan and mix until smooth
Step 3
Shape the dough into a large ball and place on the prepared baking parchment
Step 4
Press the ball slightly in the middle – the galette should be about 1-1.5 cm thick. It may be sticky, so wet your hands a little with water beforehand
Step 5
Spread the pesto in the center of the galette, leaving the edges free. Place the filling – mozzarella, basil leaves and tomatoes – on top of the pesto
Step 6
Using the edge of the parchment, wrap the edges of the crust up and slightly cover the filling with them.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until crust is brown and cheese is melted
Bon appetit!
