KETO SHAWARMA WITH PAN-FRIED BEEF

Weekdays are woefully short on time and the last thing you want to do is cook something complicated. This keto pan shawarma recipe is a delicious, flavorful and hearty dish that can be made in just 30 minutes.

Sauces can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator. With this dish, following a keto diet, you will forget about cooking for days!

Ingredients :

To prepare the recipe “Keto Shawarma with Beef in a Pan” You will need:

Chopped beef 700g

Minced garlic 3 Tablespoons

Minced onions 1,5 tbsp.

Cumin 1/2 tbsp.

Spices 1/2 tbsp.

Chili pepper 1/2 tbsp.

Ground black pepper 1.5 teaspoon

Salt 8 tbsp.

Greek yogurt 8 Tbsp.

Fresh lemon juice 2 Tbsp.

Butter 2 Tbsp.

Cauliflower 455 g

Soy sauce 2 tablespoons

Water 2 tablespoons

Paprika 1 tsp.

Chili sauce 1 tbsp.

Chili oil 1 Tbsp.

Step 1
Mix spices and chopped beef in a bowl.

Step 2
In a separate bowl, combine 2 tablespoons yogurt and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly.

Step 3
Place the beef in the resulting mixture of yogurt and lemon juice. Set it aside in the refrigerator while you make the sauces.

Step 4
For the white garlic sauce, combine 2 tbsp. ground garlic, 0.5 tsp. ground onion, 4 tbsp. Greek yogurt, 0.5 tsp. salt, 0.5 tsp. ground black pepper, water and mix thoroughly. Pour the sauce into a bottle; it can be stored in the refrigerator for two weeks.

Step 5
For the red sauce, combine 1 tsp. paprika, one tablespoon each of sauce and chili oil, 2 tbsp. Greek yogurt, 0.5 tsp. salt, 0.5 tsp. ground black pepper and mix thoroughly. You can additionally add finely chopped cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocados, etc. Pour the sauce into a bottle, it can be stored in the refrigerator for two weeks.

Step 6
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a saucepan. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until tender. Transfer to a bowl and cover with foil.

Step 7
Use the same pan to cook the cauliflower. Add the soy sauce and braise until the liquid has evaporated.

Step 8
Place the cauliflower, beef, and lettuce in the pan and season with the sauce.
