RECIPE FOR KETO BUNS WITH POPPY SEEDS

Tender on the inside with a crispy crust on the outside – perfect keto buns! The poppy seeds in them are honestly for beauty, not taste, but beauty is important in gastronomy too) Bonus – they’re ready in five minutes!

If you want to diversify the recipe, you can always add herbs, garlic or any other spices to the dough.

Here’s the secret to a perfect sandwich: don’t bake the bread in a toaster, but fry it in a dry non-stick pan on one side – the inside, i.e. the slit side. Then you get a crispy crust, but it’s easier to bite into the sandwich because it’s soft on the outside

Ingredients :

Butter 1 tsp.

Almond flour 1 tbsp.

Coconut flour 1 tablespoon

Baking powder half a tsp.

Salt to taste

Egg 1 egg

Heavy cream 1 tbsp.

Poppy seeds half a tsp.

Step 1
Take a glass or silicone dish about 10 cm in diameter and grease the bottom and sides with butter

Step 2
In a separate bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together then beat the egg, add the cream and mix thoroughly until smooth.

Step 3
Pour the batter into the prepared mold and place in the microwave for two minutes. I have a 700 watt microwave. If your microwave is weaker, you may need another 15-30 seconds.

Step 4
Take the buns out and cool at room temperature. Then, cut in half and pan fry on the cut side.
