To make this recipe for Garlic Bread You will need:
Mozzarella cheese 150g
Cream cheese 60g
Almond flour 120 g
Coconut flour 2 tablespoons
Baking powder 2 tsp.
Egg 3 pcs.
Salt to taste
Garlic powder 1 tsp.
Onion powder half a tsp.
Garlic, clove 2 pcs.
Butter 1 tbsp.
Olive oil 1 tbsp.
Parmesan 1,5 tbsp.
Step 1
Place cream cheese in a bowl, grate mozzarella and place on top. Heat the cheese in the microwave in 30 second intervals and stir each time until the cheese is smooth. Cool slightly.
Step 2
Mix together the flour, salt, garlic, onion powder and baking powder. Add two eggs to the cheese, pour in the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. It’s ideal to use a mixer with a dough hook attachment for this.
Step 3
Transfer the dough to clingfilm, divide into 8 pieces and roll each into a ball (grease your hands with olive oil to keep the dough from sticking). Wrap a board in clingfilm, lightly grease with olive oil, transfer the dough balls and roll them into sticks, about 2 cm thick.
Step 4
Place the sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Whisk the egg in a bowl and brush it on the dough balls.
Step 5
Place the tray in a preheated 180°C oven for 15 minutes.
Step 6
While the sticks are baking prepare the garlic topping: Melt the butter, add the olive oil, grated garlic and mix well.
Step 7
Take the sticks out of the oven, brush with garlic butter, sprinkle with Parmesan and return to the oven for another 5 minutes until golden.
